I recently saw Richard Freeman with regards to a foot problem. I thought Richard was great. He took time to explain everything to me in a way I can understand and was very thorough. Highly recommended!!

I saw Mr Freeman after months of having had a painful heel and foot. As an active sportswoman I had already done what I could in terms of stretching and icing having had some advice from a GP, podiatrist and physiotherapist. Having had an MRI confirmed an inflamed heel and tight/short muscles accecerbating the foot issue further. Mr Freeman’s advice differed from the GP and following his recommendations the foot showed signs of improvement quickly. He also explained surgical options should there not be significant improvement within months of me following his advice. I very much appreciated his holistic explanations, recommendations and he showed great understanding in my genuine need and want not to simply “put my feet up”.

Before meeting Mr Freeman I’d experienced some frustration in getting the correct diagnosis on an ankle injury that was preventing me from running and playing other sports. Despite having had an x-ray, Ultrasound and MRI Scans it wasn’t until coming under Richard’s care that I felt confident the problem had been correctly identified. He took time to explain the options to me, and after pursuing a course of physiotherapy that couldn’t rectify the issue, I recently had ligament reconstructive surgery. It was a successful procedure that has improved the functionality of my ankle and put me on the road to a full recovery and, I trust, a return to sporting activity. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard Freeman for both his expertise and his bedside manner.

I had been suffering from constant pain in my ankle, having broken it 7 months before I met Mr Freeman. He was very quick to work out exactly what the problem was and clearly explained my options. 6 weeks post surgery, my ankle has improved so much, it’s better than when I first met Mr Freeman and I can finally see an end to the pain. Feel very lucky to have been under his expert care. Grateful for the quick recovery.

I had restorative surgery on my achilles which had been repaired in 2016 and become infected. Mr Freeman knew immediately how to proceed, and explained clearly what an operation would or should entail. Sure enough the surgery was successful, leaving a very neat scar and, within a surprisingly short time, the feeling that I could once more make normal use of my leg. In short, Mr Freeman has exceeded my expectations and given me a real chance of a better quality of life, for which I remain grateful and extremely fortunate. Physio and hydrotherapy will no doubt cement this success, and I envisage conquering the world within a decade or so. Really very satisfied.
